Beginnings...

I have been thinking about starting a blog to chronicle my journey into creative living and a second career for a long time.

"They" say starting is the hardest part.

I tend to agree with them.

An inaugural post seems as heavy as a dark grey thundercloud on a summer day... ominous, building, full of possibilities...

As is common in most creatives, my fears and insecurities abound...

Do I really have anything worth putting out in the world?

Am I ready?

Can I do this well enough?

Can I keep this up?

Honestly, I don't know.

What I do know is that I arrived at this place in my life by defying those thoughts and just jumping.

I stood on the precipice again and again and chose to jump. So I will jump again with a spirit of playfulness, humility, and humor. Let's just see what this can be....
